About Residence Las Flores
Residence-style apartments with a shared pool, aimed at longer stays.
It sits in El Esterito, which is the part of La Paz that decides most of what your days look like. The residential stretch north of downtown, still on the water but calmer. Good value, small guesthouses, easy taxi rides both ways. An aparthotel splits the difference: a kitchen and apartment-sized rooms, but with reception, cleaning and the usual hotel back-up. Officially rated 4 stars.

Within walking distance: the cathedral
Distances are straight-line from the mapped position, so road journeys run longer — La Paz is built along a curved bay and the beach road doubles back on itself.
Getting around from here
Quieter and residential, on the water but away from the promenade crowd. Downtown is a walk of fifteen minutes or so, or five by taxi. Being slightly north puts you marginally closer to the beach road.
How it compares
The case for booking this over a hotel room is the kitchen and the floor space, and it strengthens the longer you stay. For a two-night trip a hotel usually wins on convenience. Compare against Hacienda Paraíso de La Paz Bed & Breakfast, Hotel La Posada & Beach Club, La Posada Hotel Boutique in the same area, or against CostaBaja if you would rather have restaurants and a spa than a stove.

Questions
About staying here
Where is Residence Las Flores?
In El Esterito, La Paz, Baja California Sur. The residential stretch north of downtown, still on the water but calmer. Good value, small guesthouses, easy taxi rides both ways. The Malecón promenade is 10–20 minutes on foot, 5 by car from here.
Can I walk to the Malecón and downtown?
Not comfortably. It is a taxi, ride-hail or short drive — both are cheap and easy to arrange in La Paz.
How do I check prices and availability?
Use the live rates for Residence Las Flores and enter your dates. Current prices, the property's own photo gallery and verified guest reviews are all there, and the same search lets you compare it against everything else in the city.
Is it a good base for Balandra and the island trips?
It works, with the caveat that Balandra and Tecolote are 25 to 30 minutes north by road. Espíritu Santo day trips leave from the city marinas and from Playa El Tecolote, and most operators will collect from central hotels.
How far is it from La Paz airport?
12.4 km in a straight line — reckon on 20 to 35 minutes by road depending on traffic through town. There is no airport train or public bus; it is a taxi, a pre-booked transfer or a hire car.
Is there parking?
Properties out on the Pichilingue road and in the residential neighbourhoods almost always have their own parking, usually free and often gated.
