How to actually get the best rate
A few things are worth knowing before you commit.
- Book early for high season. The Early Booking discount is deepest between December and April, which is also when the property fills. Whale shark season and the winter holidays overlap.
- Three nights is the sweet spot. The Buy Two Get Three structure means the third night is effectively free, so a two-night trip is almost always worse value than a three-night one.
- Compare before you confirm. Flash sales appear and vanish. Checking live rates across the whole city takes thirty seconds and occasionally saves a great deal — especially in shoulder season, when the mid-range city hotels discount hard.
- Watch the shoulder months. May, June, October and November give you most of the good weather at a fraction of the January rate.

Can offers be combined?
Generally not. Each package has its own terms, blackout dates and minimum stays, and the deepest discount usually excludes the others. Read the rate conditions at the point of booking.
How far in advance should I book?
For December to April, three to six months. For the shoulder months, four to six weeks is usually enough. Flash sales are the exception — those reward watching rather than planning.
